OKRs, without the SaaS subscription

An objective is the what you want; key results are the numbers that prove you got there. Give each key result a starting value, a target and a unit — the tracker works out the percentage, averages them into the objective's score, and rolls everything up into one overall number with an honest on-track / at-risk / off-track flag. Set a timeframe like “Q3 2026”, update values as you go, and export a JSON backup any time. No account, nothing uploaded, free forever.

§ 02 · what you can do

Everything a tracker should do.

  • Create objectives with a title, accent color and a shared timeframe like “Q3 2026”.
  • Add key results to each objective with a start value, current value, target and unit — decrease-goals (target below start) work too.
  • Track progress automatically: per-KR bars and objective rollups update the moment you enter a number.
  • See an overall OKR score with an honest on-track, at-risk or off-track flag at a glance.
  • Export to JSON for backup and re-import any time — even across devices.
  • Private by construction: everything is saved in your browser only; nothing is uploaded.
§ 03 · how to use it

Five steps, no manual.

  1. Click + Objective, type your goal, pick an accent color and set a timeframe such as “Q3 2026”.
  2. Add key results — a name, start value, current value, target and unit for each measurable outcome.
  3. Watch the progress bars and overall score update automatically as you fill in current values.
  4. Come back and update current values as the quarter moves — the flags stay honest.
  5. Use Export JSON to back up your OKRs and Import JSON to restore them later.
§ 04 · faq

Frequently asked questions.

Is the Goals & OKR Tracker free?
Yes — completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The tracker runs entirely in your browser on your own device — your objectives and numbers never leave your computer.
Does it work offline?
Yes — once the page has loaded, everything (adding objectives, updating key results, exporting) works without a connection, because all logic runs locally.
Will I lose my OKRs if I close the tab?
No — they're saved in this browser automatically and reload when you come back. Clearing site data removes them, so use Export JSON for a backup you control.
How are the on-track / at-risk flags decided?
Simple, honest thresholds: 70% and above is on track, 40–69% is at risk, below 40% is off track — for individual objectives and the overall score alike.
