§ 03 · how to use it
Five steps, no manual.
- Pick a board from the dropdown, or click + Board to start a fresh one, every new board comes with To do, Doing and Done columns.
- Rename columns by clicking their titles, or press + Add column to add more workflow stages.
- Click + Add card, give the task a title, optional notes and a color label, Enter saves it straight from the title field.
- Drag cards between columns and drop them into position as work progresses. Everything saves automatically.
- Click Export JSON any time for a backup, and Import JSON to restore or merge boards later.

Frequently asked questions.
Is the Kanban board free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Are my tasks uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The board runs entirely in your browser on your own device, cards, notes and board names never leave your computer.
Will I lose my boards if I close the tab?
No, every change is saved to this browser automatically and reloads when you come back. Clearing site data removes them, so use Export JSON for a backup you control.
Can I move my boards to another device or browser?
Yes. Export the board as JSON on one device and Import it on the other. The importer accepts a single board, an array of boards, or a full multi-board export file.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded, everything (adding cards, dragging, exporting) works without a connection, because all logic runs locally in your browser.
