Frequently asked questions.

Is the QR Code Generator free?
Yes, completely free for everyone, including the center logo and SVG export. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Do the QR codes expire or track scans?
No. These are static QR codes that encode your data directly, there is no redirect, no short link and no analytics in the middle. They keep working forever and can't be disabled by us.
Is it private? Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The QR matrix is built in your browser and any logo you add is read locally, your links, Wi-Fi passwords and images never leave your device.
Why does my QR code stop scanning after I add a logo?
A center logo covers data modules. Set the error-correction level to High so the code carries enough redundancy to recover the covered area, keep the logo small, and use high contrast between foreground and background.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for screens, slides and social. Use SVG for print, packaging or signage, it's a vector, so it stays razor-sharp at any size. (The center-logo overlay is baked into the PNG only.)
What content types can I encode?
A URL, plain text, Wi-Fi credentials (SSID, password and security type), an email address with an optional subject, or a phone number. Each type formats the payload correctly so standard scanners recognise it.
