A recording studio and timeline editor with no servers
Recording uses your browser’s built-in Screen Capture and MediaRecorder APIs, and every preview frame is composited on an HTML canvas from hidden media elements, so recording and editing both stay on your device and nothing is ever uploaded. Export captures that exact canvas plus a Web Audio mix in real time (a 60-second timeline takes about 60 seconds) and saves a WebM file. Convert it to MP4 with the Video Trim & GIF tool. It works best in Chrome, Edge and Firefox on desktop; Safari support is limited.
Everything a screen studio should do.
- Record your screen, webcam and voiceover straight into the timeline, with your microphone mixed into screen captures.
- Edit on a real multi-track timeline: drag clips to move them, drag the edges to trim, split at the playhead, duplicate and delete.
- Drag and drop video, audio or image files anywhere on the page to import them instantly into the media bin.
- Detach audio from any video clip onto its own track, so you can move, trim or delete the sound on its own.
- Add callouts , text labels, arrows, blur regions and spotlights , plus per-clip speed, volume, fades, colour looks and picture-in-picture.
- Export to a WebM video or save a single frame as a PNG, all without anything leaving your device.
Four steps, no manual.
- Record your screen, webcam or voiceover, or drag and drop video, audio or image files anywhere on the page to import them.
- Arrange and trim clips on the multi-track timeline, then add callouts, fades and picture-in-picture as needed.
- Right-click a video clip to Detach audio onto its own track, or to split, duplicate or delete it.
- Export the timeline to a WebM video, or save the current frame as a PNG. Everything stays on your device.
