Every clock here updates each second using your browser's built-in time-zone data, so daylight-saving shifts are handled for you and a city's “+1 day” is computed from the real calendar, not a guess. Your chosen cities are saved on this device only, and the whole thing runs offline once loaded. Free forever.
§ 02 · what you can do
Every zone, one glance.
- Track live time for as many cities as you want, every card ticks once a second.
- Add any city or time zone: the picker lists every IANA zone your browser knows (usually 400+), with your local zone flagged “You”.
- Toggle 12-hour and 24-hour display and show or hide seconds to match your preference.
- See the day offset, ahead, behind or same day, computed from each zone's real calendar date, plus its exact UTC offset (half-hour zones included).
- Spot day vs. night at a glance with the sun / moon marker and a subtle card tint.
- Keep your list between visits, cities and preferences are saved in this browser only, no account needed.
§ 03 · how to use it
Four steps, no manual.
- Select a city or time zone from the dropdown and click Add, it starts ticking immediately.
- Use the 12/24-hour toggle and the Show seconds checkbox to customise the display.
- Read each card: live time, date, UTC offset, a sun / moon day-night marker and the day offset from your local date.
- Click × on any card to drop a city, or Reset to defaults to start fresh.

Frequently asked questions.
Is World Clock free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Is anything uploaded?
No upload, ever. Every time is calculated on your own device using your browser's built-in time-zone database, and your city list is stored locally, nothing is sent to a server.
How does it handle daylight saving time?
Automatically. The clock uses the IANA time-zone database that ships with your browser, so daylight-saving transitions, half-hour offsets like UTC+5:30 and historical rule changes are all applied for you, there is nothing to configure.
Will my city list be saved if I close the tab?
Yes, your cities, the 12/24-hour choice and the seconds setting are saved in this browser automatically and restored when you come back. Clearing site data removes them, in which case the clock falls back to a sensible default set.
What does “+1 day ahead” on a card mean?
That city is already on tomorrow's calendar date compared with yours, useful when scheduling across the date line. It's computed from the real calendar date in each zone, not estimated from the hour difference, so it stays correct around midnight and during DST shifts.
