Set priorities and due dates, click any task to edit it inline, drag the grip to reorder, and watch the progress bar fill as you tick things off. § 03 · how to use it
Four steps, no manual.
- Type a task, choose a priority and optionally set a due date — then press Enter or click Add task.
- Tick the checkbox to mark a task done. Click the task text to edit it inline (Enter saves, Escape cancels).
- Drag the grip handle to reorder tasks — the order is remembered automatically.
- Use the All / Active / Completed filters to focus, and Clear completed to sweep finished items. Everything saves as you go.

Frequently asked questions.
Is the To-Do List free?
Yes — completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Are my tasks uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The list runs entirely in your browser on your own device — your tasks are stored in local storage and never leave your computer.
Does it work offline?
Yes — once the page has loaded, adding, editing, reordering and completing tasks all work without a connection, because every bit of logic runs locally.
Will I lose my tasks if I close the tab?
No — your list is saved in this browser automatically and reloads when you come back. It even syncs live across open tabs. Clearing site data removes it, since the browser is the only place it exists.
How do priorities and due dates work?
Each task gets a High, Medium or Low priority shown as a color-coded border and pill. Due dates display as Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday or a short date — and any unfinished task past its date is flagged as overdue automatically.
