Organize a PDF without handing it to a server
Most “free” PDF splitters upload your document before they touch a single page. This one does everything on your own device. Every page is rendered to a thumbnail so you can see exactly what you’re working with, then check the pages you want and Extract them into a new file, mark pages for deletion with the trash toggle, rotate any page 90° at a time, and drag tiles to reorder the final document. When you’re done, apply your order and rotation to download a clean rebuilt PDF, or split every kept page into its own file and grab them all as a single .zip. How to use PDF Split & Organize
This tool lets you pull pages out of a PDF, delete pages, rotate them and change their order, then save a new file. It shows a thumbnail of every page, and when you save it copies the real pages from your original into a fresh PDF, so text and images stay as they were. Use it to trim a scan, send someone only the pages they need, or break a long file into single pages.
Step by step

Open a PDF
Drop one PDF on the card that says Drop a PDF here, or click it to browse. On a keyboard, focus the card and press Enter. A thumbnail grid appears, and each page shows rendering… until its preview is ready.

Reorder and rotate
Drag a tile onto another position to move it. Press ⟳ under a page to rotate it 90 degrees clockwise; press again for 180 and 270. Once a page has moved, its tile shows both its new number and its source page, such as #1 · src 3.

Mark pages to remove
Press the trash button under a page, labeled Toggle delete, to mark it for deletion, and press it again to undo. To remove several at once, tick their checkboxes and press Delete selected. Marked pages are dimmed and labeled DELETE.

Extract a few pages
Tick the pages you want, or use Select all and Select none, then press Extract selected. You get a new PDF with only those pages, in the grid order and with your rotations. Pages marked for deletion are left out even if ticked.

Save the whole document
Press Apply order + rotation to download every page that is not marked for deletion as one PDF, in the new order. Or press Split every page (.zip) to get each kept page as its own PDF inside one .zip file.

Start over
Press Clear to close the document and open another. Your original file is never changed; every save is a new download.
Reading the result
- The summary line counts the pages, how many will be kept and how many are ticked, for example 12 pages · 10 kept · 3 selected.
- Downloads are named after your file: name-extract.pdf for Extract selected, name-organized.pdf for Apply order + rotation, and name-pages.zip for the split.
- Inside the .zip each file is numbered in the grid order with leading zeros, such as name-page-01.pdf to name-page-12.pdf, so they sort correctly.
- Rotations are added to any rotation the page already had, so a page that was already turned keeps its turn plus yours.
Tips and common mistakes
- Extract selected uses only the ticked pages, while Apply order + rotation and the split use every page not marked for deletion. Check the kept count before you save.
- Delete selected marks the ticked pages for deletion and clears their ticks. Press the trash button on a page to bring it back.
- Password protected or encrypted PDFs usually fail to open or to save. Remove the protection in your PDF reader first, then try again.
- The new file is built from copies of the pages, so document level extras such as bookmarks may not come across.
- Large PDFs take longer, because every thumbnail is drawn one page at a time. You can start reordering before they have all finished.
Privacy and limits
Your PDF is read, previewed and rebuilt in your own browser with the open source pdf.js, pdf-lib and JSZip libraries, which load from this site. The file is not uploaded and nothing is saved, so Clear or a page reload removes it from memory. There is no page limit, but very large files need enough free memory on your device.
