Is the Meeting Cost Calculator free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Are my numbers uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The calculator runs entirely in your browser on your own device, attendee counts, salaries and durations never leave your computer.
How is the meeting cost calculated?
Total = attendees × average hourly rate × duration. If you enter an annual salary instead, it is converted to an hourly rate by dividing by your working hours per year (2,080 by default). The per-minute, per-person and burn-per-hour tiles are derived from the same numbers.
How does the live meeting meter work?
Press Start meeting and the meter bills in real time from that moment, ignoring the duration fields, ideal for the big screen. Stop locks in the elapsed cost, Resume continues the clock from where it stopped, and Reset returns to the standard calculator.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded, the calculator and the live meter run entirely on your device, so they keep working without a connection.
