Decide like a president
Dwight Eisenhower's rule: what is important is seldom urgent, and what is urgent is seldom important. Drop everything into the inbox first, then drag each task into its quadrant, do urgent-and-important work now, schedule the important-but-not-urgent, delegate the urgent-but-unimportant, and eliminate the rest. Everything stays in your browser's local storage, exports as text or JSON, and prints as a clean one-pager. Free forever.
Everything the matrix should do.
- Sort tasks into four quadrants by urgency and importance, Do first, Schedule, Delegate and Eliminate, the Eisenhower way.
- Drag and drop tasks between quadrants (and reorder within one) at any time; every quadrant also has its own quick-add input.
- Use the Inbox to capture tasks before you decide where they belong.
- Mark tasks complete with a checkbox, edit or delete any task, and bulk-clear finished work with one click.
- Export your matrix as a copyable outline, a .txt file or JSON, or print it as a clean one-page summary.
- Private by construction: everything saves automatically to your browser and syncs across your open tabs; nothing is uploaded.
Five steps, no manual.
- Type a task in the New task field, pick a quadrant, or leave it in the Inbox to sort later, and press Add task or Enter.
- Drag tasks between Do first, Schedule, Delegate and Eliminate as priorities change. Each quadrant has its own quick-add input too.
- Tick the checkbox on any task to mark it complete, then use Clear completed to remove finished work.
- Use ✎ to edit a task's text and ✕ to delete it.
- Click Copy outline, Download .txt or Download .json to export, or Print for a clean one-pager.
