Is it private? Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The cropper runs entirely in your browser using the native canvas, so your photos never leave your computer and nothing is sent to a server.
How do I get a round avatar with transparent corners?
Choose the Circle shape and export as PNG or WebP, both keep the corners genuinely transparent. JPG doesn't support transparency, so circle JPG exports get white corners instead.
What sizes and formats can I export?
Square outputs at 128, 256, 512 or 1024 px, enough for every social platform and app store, in PNG, JPG or WebP. JPG and WebP export at 92% quality for small, sharp files.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded, cropping, previewing and downloading all work without a connection, because every step runs locally on your device.
