A business card people can't lose

A vCard is the universal contact format every phone understands. This tool wraps your name, role, phone, email, website and address into a vCard 3.0 payload, then encodes it as a QR code your device draws locally, no server ever sees it. Scan it from a slide, a badge or an email signature and the contact saves in one tap. Grab the .vcf file to attach directly, or export the QR as PNG for print and SVG for crisp scaling at any size. Free, private, no account.

§ 02 · what you can do

Everything a contact card should be.

  • Generate a scannable QR from your name, phone, email, website and address in seconds, it updates as you type.
  • Download a .vcf contact file your contacts can open directly on any phone or desktop.
  • Export the QR as PNG or SVG for print, badges, email signatures or websites.
  • Copy the raw vCard text to paste into any app that accepts vCard 3.0.
  • Preview a live contact card, initials avatar, tappable phone/email/site rows, before you share.
  • Private by construction: everything is generated in your browser; nothing is uploaded, ever.
§ 03 · how to use it

Four steps, no signup.

  1. Fill in your name, phone, email and website, the QR code and card preview update instantly.
  2. Add your address if you want it on the card. It's optional and works fine left blank.
  3. Point any phone camera at the QR to test it, the contact should offer to save in one tap.
  4. Click Download .vcf for the contact file, or use PNG / SVG to grab the QR image for print or web.
§ 04 · faq

Frequently asked questions.

Is the Digital Business Card tool free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Are my details uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The QR code, the card preview and every download are generated in your browser on your own device, your contact details never leave your computer.
Does the QR work with any phone?
Yes. It encodes a standard vCard 3.0 payload, which the native camera app on modern iPhone and Android reads directly, no special scanner app required. Scanning offers to save the contact in one tap.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for email signatures, slides and quick sharing. Use SVG when you need the QR to scale to any size without blurring, printed badges, posters or large-format signage.
My QR won't generate, what happened?
A single QR code has a maximum capacity. If you enter a very long address or many fields at once, the payload can exceed it, trim a field or two and it will regenerate. For most contacts this never happens.
What's a .vcf file and who can open it?
A .vcf (vCard) is the standard contact-card file. Anyone can open it on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Gmail or Outlook and it imports straight into their contacts, handy when a QR scan isn't convenient.
