Five steps, no manual.

  1. Type the bill amount and pick your currency from the selector.
  2. Tap a quick tip button (10, 15, 18, 20 or 25%) or drag the slider for a custom percentage up to 50%.
  3. Use the plus and minus buttons to set how many people are splitting — up to 99.
  4. Optionally tick round up to make each share a whole number; the note shows exactly how much extra that collects.
  5. Read the per-person total in the green card and the full breakdown beneath it.

Is the Tip & Bill Splitter free?
Yes — completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The calculator runs entirely in your browser on your own device — the bill amount and everything else you type never leaves your computer, and nothing is stored.
Does it work offline?
Yes — once the page has loaded, all the math runs locally, so you can split a bill at the table even with no connection.
How does the round-up option work?
It rounds each person's share up to the next whole number so everyone pays a clean amount. The tool then shows how much is collected in total and exactly how much extra that is over the true bill — usually a few cents per person that acts as a small buffer.
What does the Tip & Bill Splitter calculate?
Five figures, all live: the tip amount at your chosen percentage, the total bill with tip, the tip per person, the subtotal per person, and the headline per-person share. You can split among up to 99 people in seven currencies.
