Signature generator. Sign, then ship the PNG.

Draw a natural, pressure-style signature or type your name in a cursive style, then export a trimmed transparent PNG for PDFs, docs and email footers. Everything happens in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Preview & export

Draw or type to see a preview

Transparent PNGs drop cleanly into PDFs, Word docs, email footers and design tools.

A signature image, made the honest way

Draw mode records your stroke as points and renders it with velocity-aware width — the line thickens where you slow down and thins where you speed up, so it reads like a real pen rather than a flat vector. If your device reports pen pressure (a stylus, for instance), that's used directly. Type mode renders your name in one of six cursive styles at high resolution. Either way, the export is trimmed tight to the ink and supersampled before it's scaled to your chosen width, so edges stay crisp. No account, nothing uploaded, free forever.

§ 02 · what you can do

Everything a signature tool should do.

  • Draw a natural signature with velocity-sensitive strokes that thicken and thin like a real pen — on any device with a mouse, stylus or touchscreen, with real pen pressure used when available.
  • Type your name in six cursive styles — Flow, Casual, Classic, Elegant, Script and Hand — with an instant live preview on every card.
  • Choose an ink colour from black, blue, moss green or dark red, or pick any custom colour — shared across both Draw and Type modes.
  • Refine with Undo and Clear and dial in the pen width from 1 to 8 px before exporting.
  • Export a trimmed transparent PNG at any width from 300 to 2000 px, or a white-background PNG for platforms that don't support transparency.
  • Copy the image to your clipboard for quick pasting, and stay private by construction — nothing ever leaves your browser.
§ 03 · how to use it

Four steps, no manual.

  1. Pick Draw to sign with your mouse, stylus or finger, or Type to enter your name and choose a cursive style.
  2. Set an ink colour and, in Draw mode, adjust the pen width. Use Undo or Clear to refine your stroke.
  3. Set the export width in the Preview panel and check the live preview and pixel dimensions.
  4. Click Download transparent PNG — or the white-background version, or copy the image straight to your clipboard.
§ 04 · faq

Frequently asked questions.

Is the Signature Generator free?
Yes — completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Is my signature uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The tool runs entirely in your browser on your own device — your signature is generated locally and never leaves your computer.
What file format does it export?
A PNG with a transparent background by default, trimmed tight around your signature. You can also download a white-background version or copy the image straight to your clipboard.
Why does my drawn line get thicker and thinner?
That's intentional. The stroke width reacts to how fast you move — slower strokes render thicker, faster strokes thinner — so it looks like real ink. If your device reports pen pressure (for example a stylus), that's used directly instead.
Can I use the signature on legal documents?
The tool creates an image of your signature. Whether an image signature is legally valid depends on the platform and jurisdiction. For legally binding e-signatures, check the requirements of your specific document or e-signature provider.
Does it work offline?
Yes — once the page has loaded, drawing, typing and exporting all work without a connection, because every step runs locally in your browser.
