Most passport rules require a plain white or off-white background and a neutral expression. This tool crops and sizes only, if your background is busy, clean it up first, then bring the photo back here.

Print-ready ID photos without the photo-booth fee

Pick your country's official size, line the head up with the crown and chin guides, and download a single photo at exact pixel dimensions (300 or 600 DPI) plus a whole print sheet, six 35×45 photos fit on a single 4×6 print at most photo kiosks. Always double-check your authority's current rules for head size and background before submitting. Everything is rendered locally on your device: no upload, no account, completely free.

§ 04 · faq

Frequently asked questions.

Is the Passport Photo Maker free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The tool crops and resizes your photo entirely in your browser on your own device, the image never leaves your computer and nothing is sent to a server.
Which passport and visa sizes are supported?
Built-in presets cover US 2×2 in (51×51 mm), EU / India / UK 35×45 mm, China 33×48 mm and Canada 50×70 mm. For anything else, choose Custom and enter an exact width and height in millimetres or inches.
Can I print several photos on one sheet?
Yes. The print sheet section tiles as many copies as fit onto a 4×6 in or A4 page with light dashed cut lines. Six 35×45 mm photos fit on a single 4×6 print at most photo kiosks.
Will the photo be accepted by my authority?
This tool handles the exact size, cropping and print layout, but you're responsible for meeting your authority's photo rules, a plain light background, a neutral expression, correct head proportions and even lighting. Always check the current official guidance before you submit.
What resolution should I choose?
300 DPI is the standard for printed passport photos and is accepted everywhere. Choose 600 DPI only if your source photo is very sharp and you want extra headroom, it makes larger files with no visible gain from a soft original.
