Resize without uploading a thing

Most “free” resizers send your photos to a server. This one renders every resize locally with your device's own canvas — instant, completely private, and it works offline once the page has loaded. Single and multi-file resizing, format conversion, and one-click ZIP export of the whole batch are all free, with no account and no limits.

§ 02 · what you can do

Everything a resizer should do.

Resize by exact pixels Set a target width, height or both, with an optional aspect-ratio lock so nothing stretches.
Scale by percentage Shrink or enlarge every image from 10% to 200% of its own original size with one slider.
Apply social presets One click hits Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and X sizes — scaled to cover, then centre-cropped.
Batch-resize & ZIP Drop a whole folder of images at once and download the full set as a single ZIP archive.
Keep or convert format Output as JPG, WebP or PNG regardless of the source type — or keep each file's original format.
Private by construction Everything runs in the browser — no server, no account, no limits, and it keeps working offline.
§ 03 · how to use it

Four steps, no manual.

  1. Drop your images onto the page or click to browse — one or many, JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF. They never leave your device.
  2. Pick a resize mode — exact pixels with an aspect lock, a percentage scale, or a social-media preset.
  3. Choose your output format — keep the original, or convert to JPG, WebP or PNG.
  4. Download each image individually, or grab the whole batch as a single ZIP. Done.
§ 04 · faq

Frequently asked questions.

Is the Image Resizer free?
Yes — completely free for everyone, including the batch ZIP export. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The resizer runs entirely in your browser on your own device — each image is decoded, resized and exported locally, so your files never leave your computer.
How does the aspect-ratio lock work?
With the lock on, set just one side and leave the other blank and the missing dimension is calculated to keep proportions. If you set both, the image is fit inside that box without distortion. Turn the lock off to stretch to exact width and height.
Do the social presets crop my image?
Yes. Presets like Instagram Square or YouTube Thumbnail have a fixed shape, so each image is scaled to cover the target size and then centre-cropped to hit those exact dimensions — no letterboxing or squashing.
Can I convert the file format while resizing?
Yes. Leave the format on “Keep original”, or pick JPG, WebP or PNG and every image is re-encoded to that format on export — a quick way to turn heavy PNGs into lighter WebP or JPG.
Does it work offline?
Yes — once the page has loaded, resizing, converting, previewing and ZIP export all work without a connection, because every step runs locally in your browser.
