Resize without uploading a thing
Most “free” resizers send your photos to a server. This one renders every resize locally with your device's own canvas, instant, completely private, and it works offline once the page has loaded. Single and multi-file resizing, format conversion, and one-click ZIP export of the whole batch are all free, with no account and no limits.
How to use the Image Resizer
This resizer changes the pixel size of one image or a whole batch at once. You can set exact pixels, scale by a percentage or pick a social media size, then save each file or download them all as one ZIP. Every image is redrawn on your device's canvas, so nothing is uploaded.
Step by step

Add your images
Drop JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF files on the card that says Drop images here, or click it to browse. You can add several at once. The settings and a preview card for each image appear once they load.

Choose a resize mode
Pick By pixels, By percent or Presets. Every image is resized again whenever you change a setting, so the previews always match what you will download.

Resize by pixels
In By pixels, width (px) and height (px) start at the first image's size. With Lock aspect ratio on, typing one side fills in the other, and images with a different shape are fitted inside that box. Turn the lock off to stretch to the exact size.

Or use percent or a preset
In By percent, drag the scale slider from 10% to 200% of each image's own size (default 100%). In Presets, choose Instagram Square, Instagram Story, Facebook Cover, X / Twitter Header, YouTube Thumbnail or LinkedIn; each option lists its exact size.

Pick the output format
Under output format, Keep original saves PNG as PNG, WebP as WebP and everything else as JPG. Choose JPG, WebP or PNG to convert every file to that format.

Download
Press Download on a preview card to save one file, or Download all (.zip) to get every resized image in resized-images.zip. Press Clear to remove the images and start again.
Reading the result
- Each preview card shows the file name, the original size and the new size, for example 4000×3000 → 1080×810, and the new file size.
- The line next to the buttons shows how many images are loaded and the combined size of the resized files.
- Saved files keep the original name with the new size added, such as photo-1080x810.jpg.
Tips and common mistakes
- Presets fill the whole frame and then crop the center, so the edges of a photo with a different shape are cut off. Keep the subject near the middle.
- To make files smaller, convert large PNG photos to JPG or WebP. JPG and WebP are saved at 90% quality, while PNG keeps every pixel.
- Under Keep original a GIF is saved as a JPG, and an animated GIF comes out as a single still frame.
- Scaling above 100% adds pixels but not detail, so enlarged images look softer.
- To add more images after the first batch, press Clear and drop the whole set again.
Privacy and limits
Every image is decoded, resized and saved in your browser, and the ZIP is built on your device. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored, so the images are gone when you reload or close the tab. Large batches take longer on slower devices because your own device does the work.
