  1. Enter your event title, location, description and, if you like, an organizer email.

  2. Set the start and end time — or tick All-day event and choose a start date plus number of days.

  3. Pick a reminder and a repeat rule if the event recurs; the preview and raw .ics update live.

              Is the Calendar Event (.ics) maker free?
              
Yes — completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.

            

            

              Is it private? Are my event details uploaded anywhere?
              
No upload, ever. The .ics file is assembled entirely in your browser on your own device — your meeting titles, locations and notes never touch a server.

            

            

              Which calendar apps can open the .ics file?
              
Any app that supports the iCalendar standard (RFC 5545): Apple Calendar, Outlook, Google Calendar, Thunderbird, Fantastical and most others. The file includes a unique UID, proper text escaping and 75-character line folding, so it imports cleanly.

            

            

              How are time zones handled?
              
Timed events use your device’s local wall-clock time as floating time, and the tool appends a “Time zone: …” note to the description so recipients in other zones can interpret it correctly. The Google Calendar link converts your times to UTC automatically.

            

            

              Can I make repeating events with reminders?
              
Yes. Choose daily, weekly, monthly or yearly repetition (written as a standard RRULE) and a display reminder 15 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day before the event (written as a VALARM). Both travel inside the .ics and the recurrence also carries into the Google Calendar link.

            

            

              Does it work offline?
              
Once the page has loaded, building, previewing, copying and downloading the .ics all work without a connection because everything runs locally.
