Make a GIF without the upload

Most GIF makers push your images to a server and stamp a watermark on the result. This one renders the whole animation locally with your device's own power: instant, fully private, offline-ready and never watermarked. Reordering, per-frame timing, resizing and export are all completely free.

§ 02 · what you can do

Everything a GIF maker should do.

  • Build an animated GIF from any set of PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF images.
  • Reorder frames by dragging the cards, or with the up and down arrows on each frame.
  • Set the timing, one global delay from 20 ms to 2,000 ms, or switch on per-frame delay for full control.
  • Choose the output size: match the first frame, fit the largest frame, or enter a custom width and height.
  • Pick a scaling mode, contain (letterbox), cover (crop) or stretch, when using a custom size, and set loop and quality.
  • Download with no watermark, no upload and no signup, everything renders on your own device.
§ 03 · how to use it

Four steps, no manual.

  1. Add your images, drop them onto the upload area or click to browse. PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF are all supported.
  2. Reorder the frames by dragging them or using the up and down arrows, and remove any you don't want.
  3. Set the timing and size, global or per-frame delay, output size, scaling mode, loop and quality.
  4. Click Build GIF, wait a moment for rendering, then click Download GIF to save your file.
§ 04 · faq

Frequently asked questions.

Is the GIF Maker free?
Yes, completely free for everyone, with no sign-up, no account and no usage limits. The exported GIF has no watermark.
Is it private? Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No upload, ever. The GIF is encoded entirely in your browser on your own device, your images never leave your computer and nothing is sent to a server.
How do I reorder the frames?
Drag a frame card to a new position, or use the up and down arrows on each frame. The GIF plays the frames in the order shown, top-left to bottom-right.
Can I set how long each frame shows?
Yes. Set one global delay in milliseconds for every frame, or switch on Per-frame delay to give each image its own timing individually.
What image formats and sizes can I use?
PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF images are all supported. Frames can be different sizes, choose to match the first frame, fit the largest frame, or set a custom width and height with contain, cover or stretch scaling.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded, the GIF Maker keeps working offline because all the encoding runs locally in your browser.
