Fancy text generator. Unicode that pastes anywhere.
🔒 Runs entirely on your device, nothing is sent anywhere. ⚠️ Some platforms and fonts can't render every style, and screen readers struggle with these characters, use them sparingly (great for usernames, not body text).
Not fonts, real Unicode characters
Every style maps your letters to real Unicode codepoints (mathematical alphanumerics, enclosed letters, combining marks), so the result pastes anywhere plain text is accepted: Instagram bios, X/Twitter names, Discord, YouTube titles and more. Because they're characters rather than styling, the look survives copy & paste, but a few platforms or older fonts may show blank boxes for the rarer ranges like squared or negative-circled letters.
How to use the Fancy Text Generator
This generator rewrites your text in 25 Unicode styles, from Math bold and Script to Circled, Small caps and Upside down. It swaps each letter for a look-alike Unicode character instead of applying a font, so the style survives copy and paste into bios, usernames and posts. It is meant for short lines, not long body text.
Step by step
-
Type your text
Type or paste into the box labeled your text. It starts with Hello World 123, and the list of styles below updates a moment after you stop typing.
-
Filter the list
Type part of a style name in Find a style, such as bold, circle or script, to show only the matching rows. Empty the box to see all 25 again.
-
Copy one style
Click anywhere on a row to copy that version. The Copy tag on the row changes to Copied for a moment, and a message confirms it.
-
Copy or save every style
Press Copy all styles to copy all 25 versions, one per line with the style name in front, or Download .txt to save the same list as fancy-text.txt. Both ignore the filter and always include every style.
-
Paste and check
Paste into the bio, name field or post, then look at it there. The app you paste into chooses the font that draws these characters, so the look can differ from this page.
Reading the result
- Each row shows the style name and your converted text, beside it on a wide screen and below it on a phone.
- Some styles change letters only. Math italic, Bold italic, Script, Bold script, Fraktur, Bold fraktur, Sans italic, Squared and Small caps leave digits as plain numbers, so Hello World 123 keeps an ordinary 123.
- Small caps, Squared and Negative circled have no separate lowercase set, so lowercase and capital letters come out the same.
- Upside down flips each character and also reverses the order, so the text reads correctly when the screen is turned over.
- Strikethrough, Underline and Dot above add a combining mark after every character except spaces.
Tips and common mistakes
- If a style shows empty boxes after you paste it, the app's font has no character for it. Squared and Negative circled are the usual cases; switch to Math bold, Script or Small caps.
- Screen readers may read these characters one at a time or by their math names. Keep them for a name or a short accent, not whole sentences.
- Sparkle wrap and Star wrap add decorations around the whole line, so they work best on a short name.
- Copy all styles is a quick way to compare looks side by side in a notes app before you choose one.
Privacy and limits
Every conversion runs in your browser. The text you type is not sent anywhere and is not saved, so it is gone when you close the tab. Copying writes only to your clipboard, and Download .txt creates the file on your device.
One input, every style.
