  • Search by name or keyword, type “heart”, “fire”, “cat” or “party” and matching emoji filter instantly.
  • Filter by category across Smileys, Gestures & People, Animals & Nature, Food & Drink, Travel & Places, Activities, Objects, Symbols and Flags.
  • Copy in four formats: the emoji character, Unicode codepoint (U+1F600), HTML decimal entity, or a JavaScript escape sequence.
  • Copy every visible emoji at once with “Copy all shown” after you filter or search.
  • See your recently copied emoji saved in the browser, click one to copy it again, or clear the list any time.
  • Private by construction: everything runs on your device and keeps working offline once loaded.

Four steps, no manual.

  1. Type a word like “heart”, “fire” or “cat” in the search box, or tap a category chip to browse.
  2. Click any emoji to copy the character, it lands on your clipboard and previews in the panel on the right.
  3. Need markup or code? Use the Copy buttons in the panel for the codepoint, HTML entity or JS escape instead.
  4. Revisit favourites from Recently copied, or grab a whole filtered set with Copy all shown.

Frequently asked questions.

Is the Emoji Picker free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. No sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Is it private? Is anything uploaded?
No upload, ever. The picker runs entirely in your browser on your own device, and your recently copied emoji are saved only in this browser, nothing leaves your computer.
What’s the difference between the character, codepoint, entity and JS escape?
The character is the emoji itself for chats and docs. The codepoint (like U+1F600) identifies it in the Unicode standard. The HTML entity (like 😀) renders it in web markup, and the JavaScript escape (like 😀) drops it safely into source code.
Why does an emoji look different somewhere else?
Each emoji is one Unicode character, but every platform draws it with its own artwork, Apple, Google, Microsoft and Samsung all render the same codepoint differently. The character you copy is identical everywhere; only the picture changes.
Will I lose my recents if I close the tab?
No, your recently copied emoji are saved in this browser automatically and reload when you come back. Clearing site data (or using the Clear button) removes them.
