Certificate generator. Print-ready in one minute.
Names, logo and certificate are rendered in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
Certificates, without the design software
Five hand-designed A4 layouts, Classic, Modern, Elegant, Playful and Corporate, each redrawn live on a print-resolution canvas as you type. Set the accent color to your brand, drop in a logo, add up to two script-style signatures and a date line, then export a crisp PNG or a one-page PDF. Handing out awards to a whole class or team? Bulk mode takes one name per line and packs up to 150 individual certificates into a single ZIP. No account, nothing uploaded, free forever.
How to use the Certificate Generator
This generator makes award and completion certificates as print-ready A4 landscape images. You pick a layout, fill in the text, and the certificate is redrawn on a 2480 × 1754 px canvas as you type. Use it for one award, or switch to bulk mode to make a certificate for every name on a class or team list.
Step by step
-
Pick a template
Under Template, click Classic, Modern, Elegant, Playful or Corporate. Each one sets its own default Accent colour, so choose the template first and the color after.
-
Set the color and logo
Use Accent colour to match your brand. Borders, rules and the title tint follow it. To add a logo, click Add logo or drag an image onto it. Click it again to replace the logo.
-
Write the main text
Fill in Certificate title (up to 60 characters), Recipient name, Description line (up to 160 characters) and Organization. The sample text in each field is only an example, so replace all of it.
-
Add the date and signatures
Date starts with today's date in your browser's format, and you can type any text there. Fill in Signature 1, name and Signature 1, role, and optionally Signature 2, name and Signature 2, role. Clear a name or the date to drop that block from the bottom row.
-
Download one certificate
In Single mode, press PNG for an image or PDF for a one-page A4 PDF. The file is named after the recipient, for example certificate-jordan-a-smith.png.
-
Or make one per name
Under Mode, choose Bulk (one per name) and paste names into Recipient names, one per line. The preview shows the first name and the counter shows how many names it found. Press Download ZIP of PNGs to get one numbered PNG per name.
Reading the result
- The preview is the actual file at a smaller size. What you see is what downloads, at 2480 × 1754 px, which has the proportions of A4 landscape and prints at about 212 DPI on an A4 sheet.
- Long names and titles shrink to fit the width, down to a minimum size. The description wraps to two lines at most and is cut with an ellipsis after that.
- The bottom row places up to three blocks, in this order: Signature 1, the date, then Signature 2. With fewer blocks, the rest are spaced evenly.
- In the ZIP, files are numbered in list order, such as 01-jordan-a-smith.png, so they print in the same order as your list.
Tips and common mistakes
- Bulk mode takes up to 150 names per ZIP. Split a longer list into batches.
- Blank lines in the name list are skipped, so you can paste straight from a spreadsheet column.
- A logo with a transparent background, such as a PNG, sits cleanly on every template. A JPG logo brings its background box with it.
- If you leave Certificate title or Recipient name empty, the certificate shows Certificate of Achievement or Recipient Name instead, so check the preview before you export.
- For printing, use the PDF. It holds a JPEG of the certificate at 95% quality, sized exactly to an A4 landscape page.
Privacy and limits
The certificate is drawn on a canvas in your browser. Names, the logo and the exported files stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and the tool does not save your entries between visits. The script font is loaded from this site, not from a third party.
