Watermark a whole folder, privately

Most batch-watermark sites upload every photo to a server first. This one draws each watermark with your device's own Canvas, instant, completely private, and it keeps working offline. Text and logo watermarking, per-image download, and one-click ZIP export of the entire batch are all free, with no sign-up and no limits.

How to use the Bulk Watermark tool

This tool stamps the same text or logo on a whole batch of images at once. Your browser draws each photo onto a canvas at full size, adds the mark with the settings you choose, and saves a new copy. It suits photographers, shop owners and anyone sharing images who wants every file marked the same way.

Step by step

  1. Add your images

    Drop JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF files on the card that says Drop images here, or click it to pick several at once. Files that are not images are skipped. The settings and a preview of every image appear, and Add more lets you grow the batch later.

  2. Choose Text or Logo

    Press Text to stamp words, or Logo to stamp an image. Text is selected first. The settings below the switch change to match the mode, and every preview redraws as you change anything.

  3. Set up a text mark

    Type your words in Watermark text (the default is © Your Brand) and pick a Color, white by default. Font size runs from 2% to 20% of each image's width, default 6%. Opacity runs from 5% to 100%, default 55%. Rotation runs from -90° to 90°, default 0°.

  4. Or set up a logo

    In Logo mode, drop a file on Drop or click to add a logo, or click it to browse. A PNG with a transparent background works best. Scale sets the logo width from 5% to 80% of each image's width, default 25%, and its height follows the logo's own shape. Opacity defaults to 80%.

  5. Place the mark

    Click one of the nine squares under Position. Bottom right is the default. Edge margin sets the gap from the edges, from 0% to 20% of the image width, default 4%. In Text mode you can instead tick Tile / repeat across the whole image, which repeats the text over the full picture and ignores the position and the margin.

  6. Download the results

    Press Download under any preview to save that one image, or Download all (.zip) to save the whole batch as dh-watermarked.zip. Each file keeps its name with -wm added. Press Clear to empty the batch and start again.

Reading the result

  • The line beside the buttons shows how many images are loaded, the current mode and the combined size of the original files.
  • Each preview card shows the file name and the image size in pixels. The output keeps that full size, and the mark scales with each image's width, so a 6% font takes the same share of every photo whatever its resolution.
  • JPG files stay JPG and WebP files stay WebP, saved at 92% quality. PNG, GIF and other images are saved as PNG, so an animated GIF comes out as a single still frame.

Tips and common mistakes

  • For a pattern that is hard to crop out, tick Tile / repeat across the whole image and set Rotation to a negative angle such as -30°, which makes the text rise from left to right.
  • Light text vanishes on bright photos. The text carries a soft dark shadow, but a darker Color or a higher Opacity reads better on pale backgrounds.
  • If Watermark text is empty, or Logo mode has no logo loaded, the downloads come out with no mark at all. Check the previews before you download.
  • Every setting applies to the whole batch. To mark different photos differently, download one group, press Clear and set up the next.
  • Each image is redrawn and saved again, so camera details stored in the original file, such as EXIF data, are not copied to the new file.

Privacy and limits

Every image is decoded and stamped by your own browser on a canvas, and the ZIP is built inside the page without compression. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is saved, so reloading the page clears the batch. There is no set limit on the number of images, but the whole batch is redrawn at full size after each change, so many large photos use a lot of memory and take a moment to refresh.

Frequently asked questions.

Is Bulk Watermark free?
Yes, completely free for everyone. Text and logo watermarking, per-image download and one-click ZIP export are all included, with no sign-up, no account and no usage limits.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Every watermark is drawn locally with your browser's own canvas, so your photos and your logo never leave your device and nothing is sent to a server.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded, all the watermarking, previewing and ZIP export runs locally, so it keeps working without a connection.
What image formats can I watermark?
JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF go in. Each image is exported back in its original family, JPG stays JPG, WebP stays WebP, and everything else exports as PNG so transparency is kept.
What's the difference between a fixed and a tiled watermark?
A fixed watermark sits once in the position you choose on the grid, at the edge margin you set. Tile mode repeats the text diagonally across the entire image, which is harder to crop out and better for protecting work you're sharing publicly.
Is there a limit on how many images I can do at once?
There's no hard cap, the batch is limited only by your device's memory, since everything runs locally. Very large batches of high-resolution photos will use more RAM while previews render.
