£30K to £210K MRR in 18 months.
A Glasgow streetwear brand · £30K → £210K MRR.
Industry archetype built from patterns across multiple Glasgow design-led streetwear engagements. The representative 18-month numbers: 7x MRR, 92% drop sell-through, an 8.4K Discord cohort, and 51% M12 cohort retention.
Average sell-through across rolling 8-week drop calendar.
Active drop-day priority members.
A GSA-trained operator running drops.
This archetype is a slice of Glasgow design-led streetwear we ship into reliably. Picture a Glasgow School of Art-trained founder running a small drop-cycle independent at £30K MRR, pre-engagement, on a Shopify Basic stack. Strong brand voice, weak conversion infrastructure. No formal Discord cohort despite organic community demand. And a wholesale-DTC mix that left DTC undercapitalised relative to its actual demand.
Three structural problems compounded the growth ceiling. First, the drop windows weren't merchandised: no countdown timers, no sold-out-waitlist capture, no rolling drop calendar visible to customers. Second, the Discord community wasn't formalised. Drop-day priority access is the single highest-converting trigger in streetwear DTC, and here it wasn't a real mechanism.
Third, the brand identity was design-strong but didn't translate into the product detail templates. Shopify Basic stock layouts undercut the visual quality of the work.
12 weeks. Five workstreams. Drops live.
Workstream 1 · Shopify Plus migration with custom drop theme. We migrate the store to Shopify Plus with a custom theme that honours the GSA design DNA: editorial typography, generous white space, a strong photography system. Countdown timers tie to each drop window. Sold-out-waitlist capture routes missed demand into the next drop.
Workstream 2 · Discord cohort + drop-day priority. We formalised the Discord server with member tiers and drop-day priority-access codes for Discord-active members. Product-leak posts went out 48 hours pre-drop. The member base grew from an organic 1.2K to 8.4K active across 14 months.
Workstream 3 · Klaviyo segmentation + SMS drop-day. Klaviyo drop-cohort flows carry the calendar: a pre-drop teaser, drop-day SMS via Postscript, late-drop email recovery, and a post-drop UGC capture sequence.
Workstream 4 · Brand-identity refresh + Figma library. We built a Figma design library and handed it to the in-house team for ongoing campaign work. Type, colour, motion, and voice tokens are all documented. The design DNA scales across drops without losing the founder's hand.
Workstream 5 · Bundle + tier merchandising. Outfit-level bundles: top, bottom, accessory. AOV moved from £52 to £88 across 12 months as bundle attach reached 23%.

If your Glasgow streetwear brand looks like this archetype.
If your brand fits this pattern, the playbook transfers directly. The shape: Glasgow design-led streetwear in the £20K to £80K MRR range, a GSA-trained founder, organic Discord demand without formal community infrastructure, and a Shopify Basic stack. It is one of our most-shipped Clyde-side engagement shapes. The 12-week timeline holds steady, and metrics typically land within plus or minus 20 percent of the archetype above.
Five capabilities transfer directly. Shopify Plus migration with a custom drop theme that respects your design DNA. Discord cohort + drop-day priority infrastructure. Klaviyo segmentation + SMS drop-day. A brand-identity Figma library your in-house team keeps. Bundle and tier merchandising for AOV lift.
