Two line items go missing from most quotes. The first is gear baselining.   • Compliance means a report the safety director reviews. That is a filing cabinet with a dashboard. The value sits in a rule evaluated before travel money is spent.
  • Gear is tracked as a document rather than a serial number. A harness that took a fall arrest event must be retired permanently, and you cannot do that to a PDF.
  • The mobile form keeps growing during the demo. Long forms are the usual reason field safety software goes unused, and the fix is editorial rather than technical.
  • No answer on offline conflict. Two crews syncing the same gear record after a day with no signal is an ordinary Tuesday.
