§ 02 · overview

What these packages cover.

Every package takes a store from an empty Shopify trial to a live store on your own domain. That covers the theme, the catalog, payments, shipping and tax settings, six policy pages, Klaviyo email, Google Analytics 4 and Meta tracking, and a 20-point launch checklist that both sides sign before the domain goes live. The packages differ in how far the design goes, how many SKUs and markets they carry, and how much support follows launch.

Basic and Standard follow the six-phase process on our Shopify store setup page, with a sign-off gate between phases so work does not slip backward. Premium follows our custom store lifecycle instead: a discovery week, then wireframes and visual design, then a custom Online Store 2.0 theme built in Liquid. Each package is a fixed scope at a fixed price, confirmed in writing at the kickoff call.

The packages are for new stores. Moving an existing store from WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce is our Migration to Shopify package. Shopify Plus, B2B company accounts, checkout extensions and ERP integrations need a scoped quote, so book a call for those. If you are not sure which package fits, chat with the team first.

§ 04 · scope

What is not included, and what we need from you.

Not included

  • Fees paid to third parties: your Shopify plan, a paid Theme Store theme, paid app plans, your domain and payment processing fees.
  • Product photography. We resize, optimize and upload the photos you provide and add alt text.
  • Moving products, customers, orders and URLs from another platform. That is the Migration to Shopify package.
  • Shopify Plus work such as B2B company accounts, checkout extensions and Shopify Functions.
  • ERP, CRM or 3PL integrations, custom Shopify apps and headless storefronts on Hydrogen.
  • Vertical launch kits for fashion, dropshipping, food and drink or digital products. Each adds two to five days and is agreed in writing as extra scope.
  • Legal and tax advice. We set up Shopify's policy and tax tools; a lawyer or accountant in your market should check the wording.
  • Ongoing SEO, paid advertising and marketing after launch.
  • Maintenance after the support window, which is a separate monthly plan or a block of developer hours.

What we need from you

  • Your logo as a vector file (SVG or AI) plus a 2000px raster version, and your brand colors and font names.
  • Product data on our spreadsheet template: title, description, SKU, price, variant options, inventory and category.
  • Product photos at least 2000px on the long edge, with one main image and two to four alternates per product.
  • Your registered business details, so you can complete the Shopify Payments application in your own account.
  • A domain you already own, or the name you want registered for your business.
  • Your shipping and returns decisions: where you ship, your returns window and who pays return postage.
  • Copy for the home, about, contact and FAQ pages, or a recorded walkthrough of your brand that we write from.
  • Staff or collaborator access to your Shopify store, with app accounts opened in your business's name.
  • Two 30-minute review calls a week during the build, and written sign-off at each gate.
§ · how delivery works

From payment to handover.

Every package follows the same five steps. The scope changes from Basic to Premium; the order does not.

  1. step 01
    Pay at checkout

You pay the package price in full through Stripe's secure checkout. If you would rather pay a deposit before work starts and then payments at agreed milestones, book a call instead and we set that up with you.

  2. step 02
    Kickoff call

Every order gets an email reply within 24 hours to book the kickoff call. On that call we confirm the scope of your package in writing. Work starts after it.

  3. step 03
    Build

Your project is delivered remotely by our engineers in Delhi and Lucknow, with leadership in New York. The delivery estimate for your package is on its card above. It is an estimate, not a deadline: your dates are confirmed in writing at the kickoff call.

  4. step 04
    Review and revisions

You review the work as it is delivered. Your package card says how revisions are handled: where it says they are agreed in writing, the rounds are set in the written scope at the kickoff call.

  5. step 05
    Handover

The finished work goes live or is handed over in the way agreed at the kickoff call.

The estimate on each card counts from the day your inputs are in: logo, product data, photos and copy. If they are not ready at kickoff, the clock starts when they land. Working days exclude weekends, so 14 working days is about three calendar weeks.

Basic and Standard run in six phases: foundation, design, catalog, commerce, growth tools and launch. Each phase ends with a sign-off from both sides before the next one starts. Premium runs discovery in week one, design in weeks two and three, the build in weeks four and five and launch in week six, and longer when the section library is deep.

Before the store goes live, we work through the 20-point launch readiness checklist and run a soft launch on a password-protected URL. The domain switches only when every item is green. Shopify decides on your Shopify Payments application, and we set up one alternative gateway alongside it.

§ · payment and refunds

Payment and refund terms.

Paid in full at checkout

Package prices are in US dollars and are charged in full at checkout. Stripe hosts the payment page, so your card details are entered on Stripe and never reach this site.

Prefer milestones?

For fixed-scope work we also bill a deposit before work starts, then payments at agreed milestones. To pay that way, book a call instead of checking out.

What the price covers

The package price is the total you pay us. We add no tax, fee or surcharge at checkout, and the amount Stripe charges is the price on the package card. It pays for our work only. Fees that other companies bill you directly, such as platform plans, app subscriptions, hosting, domains, store registration fees and payment processing on your own sales, are not part of it: the ones this package can involve are listed under not included. Your card issuer may charge its own fee for a payment in US dollars.

Refunds and cancellation

Our refund and cancellation policy applies to every package. You can cancel by written notice at any time: we stop work, deliver everything completed up to that point, and you pay for the work completed and in progress, as the policy sets out. A deliverable that misses its agreed acceptance criteria is reworked at our cost. To ask for a refund, email support@digitalheroes.co.in. We acknowledge the request within two business days, review it within five, and pay an approved refund within fifteen business days, back to the original payment method. Nothing here limits your statutory rights. Our terms of service apply too.

§ · questions

Questions before you check out.

What happens after I pay?

You land on a confirmation page, and Stripe emails your payment receipt. We then reply by email within 24 hours to book the kickoff call. On that call we confirm the scope of your package in writing, list the inputs we need from you and agree the dates. Work starts after the kickoff call, and the delivery estimate counts from the day your inputs are in.

Which package should I choose?

Basic fits a first store with up to 50 SKUs in one market, on a Theme Store theme. Standard fits a brand that wants a bespoke homepage, with up to 150 SKUs, two markets or a subscription product. Premium fits a brand whose look and merchandising need a custom theme. If you need B2B accounts, checkout extensions, an ERP sync or a much larger catalog, no package fits as written, so book a call for a scoped quote.

How long will my store take to build?

Basic takes 10 working days and Standard 14 working days, the timelines on our Shopify store setup page. Premium takes 6 to 12 weeks: six for a standard custom store, longer when the section library is deep. Every estimate assumes your logo, product data, photos and copy are ready at kickoff. If they are not, the clock starts when they land.

What if my scope changes during the build?

The kickoff call confirms the scope of your package in writing, and the build follows it. If you want something outside it, such as more SKUs, another market or a custom app, we price that change and agree it with you in writing before any of that work starts. Swapping a tool for an equivalent, such as Klaviyo for Omnisend, costs nothing if you raise it in the first phase; after the growth tools phase it becomes post-launch work.

Who owns the store, the theme code and the accounts?

The store, the domain and the app accounts belong to your business. Under the default in our terms of service, the designs, copy and code we write specifically for your project are assigned to you on full payment. We keep rights only to reusable tools not specific to your project, and may show the finished store in our portfolio unless you opt out in writing. On Premium, the theme code lives in a GitHub repository in your company's name.

Are Shopify fees, apps and the theme included in the price?

No. The package price pays for our work. Your Shopify plan, a paid Theme Store theme if you choose one, paid app plans such as Klaviyo or a reviews app, your domain and payment processing fees are billed to you by those providers. We help you pick the plan and the apps at kickoff, and our Shopify development cost page lists typical monthly running costs so you can budget for the first year.

Can I get a refund?

Our refund and cancellation policy applies to every package, and the full text is on our refund page. You can cancel by written notice at any time: we stop work, deliver everything completed up to that point, and you pay for the work completed and in progress, as the policy sets out. A deliverable that misses its agreed acceptance criteria is reworked at our cost, and if it still fails after the agreed rework rounds, you can reject it and ask for a refund of the part of the payment tied to it. To ask for a refund, email support@digitalheroes.co.in. We acknowledge the request within two business days, review it within five, and pay an approved refund within fifteen business days, back to the original payment method. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

What support do I get after launch?

Basic includes a 14-day fix window after launch. Standard and Premium include 30 days of support covering fixes, small adjustments and tracking events that did not fire once real traffic arrived. After that, ongoing work runs as a Shopify maintenance plan billed monthly, or as a block of developer hours. Either one is separate from the package.
