§ · service package

Shopify migration in three packages

Three packages with published prices for moving an existing store to Shopify: your products, customers and order history, a 301 redirect map you review before launch, a planned cutover on your own domain and 90 days of monitoring. § 02 · overview

What these packages cover.

Pick the package by where your store runs today and how much it carries. Basic suits a Wix or Squarespace store under 2,000 SKUs that sells in one market. Standard adds WooCommerce, BigCommerce, PrestaShop and Volusion, catalogs up to 20,000 SKUs and a plugin audit. Premium adds a second market, subscriptions, loyalty balances and the option of Shopify Plus.

Every package treats the move as a migration, not a rebuild. Before any data moves, you sign a field-mapping document that says where each piece of data lands on Shopify. Before launch, you review a redirect map built from a crawl of your current URLs, because that map is what carries your search traffic across to the new store.

Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and custom platforms are not sold as packages. Their data models need an audit before anyone can price them honestly, so they start with a call and a written quote. B2B company accounts, ERP connections and a custom theme sit outside all three packages for the same reason.

§ 04 · scope

What is not included, and what we need from you.

Not included

  • Migrations from Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or a custom platform. These are quoted separately after an audit.
  • A custom Shopify theme. Every package sets up a theme from the Shopify Theme Store; a custom theme is its own package.
  • Custom Shopify apps, or rebuilding plugin features that no existing Shopify app covers.
  • B2B and wholesale company accounts, checkout extensions and Shopify Functions.
  • ERP, OMS or accounting system integrations, and headless Hydrogen storefronts.
  • Your Shopify plan, any paid theme, app subscriptions and payment fees. You pay these directly to Shopify and the app developers.
  • Customer passwords. No platform can copy them to Shopify, so customers sign in again on the new store.
  • New content, product photography, copywriting, or translations for a second market.
  • Ongoing maintenance after the 90-day watch, which is a separate monthly plan if you want one.

What we need from you

  • Admin access to your current store, plus a list of the plugins or apps it runs.
  • A Shopify account on the plan you choose, with our team added as a collaborator or staff account.
  • Access to your domain's DNS settings, or a person who can change them on launch day.
  • Google Search Console access for your domain, so we can export indexed URLs and watch for errors.
  • Your theme choice from the Shopify Theme Store, plus your logo and brand colors.
  • Accounts for the apps you keep, such as email, reviews, subscriptions or loyalty.
  • One person who can review and sign the field-mapping document and the redirect map.
  • Your approval of the customer email about signing in on the new store before it is sent.
  • For Premium: content and translations for a second market.
§ · how delivery works

From payment to handover.

Every package follows the same five steps. The scope changes from Basic to Premium; the order does not.

  1. step 01
    Pay at checkout

You pay the package price in full through Stripe's secure checkout. If you would rather pay a deposit before work starts and then payments at agreed milestones, book a call instead and we set that up with you.

  2. step 02
    Kickoff call

Every order gets an email reply within 24 hours to book the kickoff call. On that call we confirm the scope of your package in writing. Work starts after it.

  3. step 03
    Build

Your project is delivered remotely by our engineers in Delhi and Lucknow, with leadership in New York. The delivery estimate for your package is on its card above. It is an estimate, not a deadline: your dates are confirmed in writing at the kickoff call.

  4. step 04
    Review and revisions

You review the work as it is delivered. Your package card says how revisions are handled: where it says they are agreed in writing, the rounds are set in the written scope at the kickoff call.

  5. step 05
    Handover

The finished work goes live or is handed over in the way agreed at the kickoff call.

Every migration runs in the six phases set out on our Shopify migration service page: discover, audit, architect, migrate, cutover and watch. Each phase ends with a deliverable you sign off before the next one starts, so nothing moves until you have seen the plan for it.

The delivery estimate on each card runs to launch day. The 90-day watch starts at launch, so the whole engagement ends about three months after your store goes live. Keep your current platform running, closed to the public if you like, until the new store has proven itself.

If discovery shows your store needs more than your package covers, such as a source platform or catalog size outside its limits, we tell you in writing before the build starts and agree any change with you.

§ · payment and refunds

Payment and refund terms.

Paid in full at checkout

Package prices are in US dollars and are charged in full at checkout. Stripe hosts the payment page, so your card details are entered on Stripe and never reach this site.

Prefer milestones?

For fixed-scope work we also bill a deposit before work starts, then payments at agreed milestones. To pay that way, book a call instead of checking out.

What the price covers

The package price is the total you pay us. We add no tax, fee or surcharge at checkout, and the amount Stripe charges is the price on the package card. It pays for our work only. Fees that other companies bill you directly, such as platform plans, app subscriptions, hosting, domains, store registration fees and payment processing on your own sales, are not part of it: the ones this package can involve are listed under not included. Your card issuer may charge its own fee for a payment in US dollars.

Refunds and cancellation

Our refund and cancellation policy applies to every package. You can cancel by written notice at any time: we stop work, deliver everything completed up to that point, and you pay for the work completed and in progress, as the policy sets out. A deliverable that misses its agreed acceptance criteria is reworked at our cost. To ask for a refund, email support@digitalheroes.co.in. We acknowledge the request within two business days, review it within five, and pay an approved refund within fifteen business days, back to the original payment method. Nothing here limits your statutory rights. Our terms of service apply too.

§ · questions

Questions before you check out.

How long does a migration to Shopify take?

The estimates on the cards come from our Shopify migration service page: 4 to 6 weeks for Basic, 6 to 10 weeks for Standard and 8 to 12 weeks for Premium, each counted to launch day. The 90-day watch runs after launch. Plugin behavior, subscriptions and messy data move the date more than product count does, which is why discovery comes first and any change to the date is agreed in writing.

What happens after I pay?

You get an email reply within 24 hours to book the kickoff call. On that call we confirm the scope of your package in writing, including your source platform, catalog size and markets. Work starts after the call with discovery: an inventory of your data, URLs and apps, followed by the field-mapping document you sign before any data moves.

Will my store lose its Google rankings in the move?

Rankings can carry across when every indexed URL has a 301 redirect to its true equivalent. We build the map from your Search Console data, your sitemap and a full crawl, you review it before launch, and we test the redirects after cutover. Expect a temporary dip of a few weeks while Google reprocesses the new URLs. No one can guarantee search positions, and we do not promise them.

What happens to my customers' passwords?

They cannot be copied to Shopify from any platform, because passwords are stored as hashes the new platform cannot reuse. Customer records, addresses and fulfilled order history do move. On Shopify's customer accounts, customers sign in with a one-time code sent to their email; on legacy accounts they set a new password. We draft the email that explains this so it goes out before launch.

What if my scope changes during the migration?

Tell us as soon as you know. Any change, such as a second market, a larger catalog or a plugin feature you now want rebuilt, is written up with its effect on price and delivery date, and no work on it starts until you agree in writing. If discovery shows your store is outside your package's limits, we tell you before the build starts rather than after.

Who owns the Shopify store, and what do I pay Shopify and app developers?

The store runs on your own Shopify account, and the theme and apps are bought in your name, so the store, its data and those accounts stay yours. You pay Shopify, theme and app developers directly for the plan, any paid theme, app subscriptions and payment fees; the package price covers our work only. Ownership of what we produce for you, such as the mapping document and redirect map, is set out in the written agreement for your project.

Can I get a refund?

Our refund and cancellation policy applies to every package, and the full text is on our refund page. You can cancel by written notice at any time: we stop work, deliver everything completed up to that point, and you pay for the work completed and in progress, as the policy sets out. A deliverable that misses its agreed acceptance criteria is reworked at our cost, and if it still fails after the agreed rework rounds, you can reject it and ask for a refund of the part of the payment tied to it. To ask for a refund, email support@digitalheroes.co.in. We acknowledge the request within two business days, review it within five, and pay an approved refund within fifteen business days, back to the original payment method. Nothing here limits your statutory rights.

What support do I get after launch?

Every package includes 90 days of monitoring after launch, scaled by package: Search Console checks with broken redirects fixed on Basic, a weekly written report on Standard, and the report plus a Looker Studio dashboard on Premium. After the 90 days, ongoing work moves to a monthly Shopify maintenance plan if you want one. That plan is separate from the package and priced on its own.
